Operator Valued Bmo and Commutators
A dx. Given a Banach space (X, ‖ · ‖) and 1 ≤ p < ∞ we shall denote by L(R, X) the space of Bochner p-integrable functions endowed with the norm ‖f‖Lp(Rn,X) = ( ∫ Rn ‖f(x)‖ dx), by Lc (R , X) the closure of the compactly supported functions in L(R, X) and by Lweak,α(R , X) the space of measurable functions such that |{x ∈ R : ‖f(x)‖ > λ}| ≤ α(λ) where α : R → R is a non increasing function. We ...
متن کاملA Characterization of Product BMO by Commutators
Here R+ denotes the upper half-plane and BMO(R 2 +×R 2 +) is defined to be the dual of the realvariable Hardy space H on the product domain R+×R 2 +. There are several equivalent ways to define this latter space and the reader is referred to [5] for the various characterizations. We will be more interested in the biholomorphic analogue of H, which can be defined in terms of the boundary values ...
متن کاملOn semi weak factorization structures
In this article the notions of semi weak orthogonality and semi weak factorization structure in a category $mathcal X$ are introduced. Then the relationship between semi weak factorization structures and quasi right (left) and weak factorization structures is given. The main result is a characterization of semi weak orthogonality, factorization of morphisms, and semi weak factorization structur...
متن کاملA Weak-type Estimate for Commutators
Let K be a smooth Calderón-Zygmund convolution kernel on R and suppose we are given a function a ∈ L∞. The two-dimensional commutator Tf(x) = ∫ K(x− y)f(y) ∫ [x,y] a(z) dz dy was shown to be bounded on L(R), p > 1 by Christ and Journé [1]. In this article, we show that this operator is also of weak type (1, 1).
متن کاملWeak Reflections and Weak Factorization Systems
A (functorial) weak reflection in a category C is essentially a sharply pointed endofunctor (T, η) on C, i.e., one for which ηTA is a split mono for each A ∈C. Using a result in [AHRT], we obtain the following “weak” version of one of the main results of [CHK]: every weak reflection (T, η) (in a category with finite products) comes from a (functorial) weak factorization system (LT ,RT ) (throug...
